Try this on for size!

Instead of sending me a text message, pick up the phone and give me a call. Instead of suggesting we "hang out," take me on a date. And instead of ignoring me for two weeks because you're freaked out about intimacy and the idea that we might one day be in a relationship, get over yourself and man up.

That is all.

  2. Ugh. Boys. Maybe that is the problem... I need to start dating MEN!

  3. You're so right. How have we become a society of people unwilling/unable to connect with each other? Anyone else blame technology?

  4. Sarah, it's so funny, because sometimes technology makes me feel closer and more connected to my friends/peers. Facebook is a perfect example -- it never lets me forget a birthday! And Twitter lets me jot down my thoughts and interact with people quickly, which is great when I'm pressed for time or don't have the energy for a full blog post. :)

At the same time, it's also become the status quo... and sometimes, it's just not good enough. I crave that human connection, especially with someone I'm dating. Taking the time to make a call or whatever shows that you have interest in someone, you value them and the connection you share. What's so hard about that?

    Ugh. :)
